Welcome all to Touchstone’s 50th anniversary season! We have an amazing lineup of bold, intelligent, heartfelt, and hilarious plays by truly excellent writers from across Canada/Turtle Island. With everything going on in our world right now, I cannot think of anything more healing than gathering in community to hear a well-told story. Storytelling preserves culture, fosters empathy and connection, and expands hearts and minds. In the face of facism, imperialism, hate, and indifference- storytelling is resistance.
I humbly invite you to gather with us over the course of our 2025/26 season: we’ll laugh our way along the Red-ish river in Women of the Fur Trade, fall in love with Gertrude and Alice, witness the joy of movement to a soundtrack of Bollywood tunes in Danceboy, and so much more. We can’t wait to share it all with you.
